For Water, fire, and mold restoration companies doing mitigation and rebuild work
See restoration jobs where labor runs past the estimate
The estimate pays for a certain amount of labor. Crews clock more hours, or the wrong mix of people goes out, and nobody compares the two until the job closes. Margin per job ends up a surprise every month.
What it can cost you
Example: 10 extra paid hours on each of 12 jobs a month x $32 loaded labor = $3,840 a month. An illustration, not a promise. Your Opportunity Scan puts a real number on it.
What the system checks overnight
- Compares paid hours on each open job to the labor the estimate supports.
- Flags jobs where paid hours already passed what the estimate allows.
- Tracks billable versus paid hours by crew and by job type.
- Flags time clocked to a job after it was marked complete.
- Flags jobs where materials bought exceed the materials in the estimate.

What happens when it fires
Your production manager decides whether it is a scope change or a crew issue. The system flags likely scope changes that may belong in a supplement.
Autonomy level: Suggest only. The brief tells you what changed and what to do. Nothing happens without you.
What we guarantee
Every open job gets a paid versus estimated labor check each night. We agree on the metric before the Sprint starts and measure it over the first 20 business days after go-live. If we miss it, you get half your Sprint fee back. Dollar savings are tracked in your monthly saves log, reported rather than promised.
Questions
Our time tracking is separate from our job software. Is that a problem?
No. The system reads time entries from your time app and matches them to jobs by job number. Entries it cannot match go on a short list for the office.
Can it tell added scope from wasted hours?
Not perfectly. It flags jobs where change orders or new photos suggest added scope, so your estimator can check whether a supplement is owed.
Do I need new software for this?
No. The system reads from the tools you already use, with read-only access by default. A guardrail layer controls exactly which data the AI can see.
What does it cost?
A 3-week Sprint is $6,000 fixed and includes the morning brief plus one automation tied to an agreed metric. Ongoing support is $1,500 a month, or $500 a month to keep it running without new automations. If the agreed metric is missed over the first 20 business days after go-live, half the Sprint fee is refunded.
How is this different from a dashboard app or a free AI kit?
A dashboard app shows numbers when you go look. A free AI kit gives you the parts, and you do the setup, the upkeep, and the checking. Here the alarms are built for your kind of business, they watch outside data like market rates and rule changes alongside yours, and on Run or Keep-Running, the person who built them keeps them working and logs what they caught.

Seven more things worth watching.
- Dry jobs not billedFlag water jobs that hit dry standard and had equipment pulled, but still have no estimate uploaded or invoice sent.
- Estimates stuck in carrier reviewTrack every estimate sent to a carrier or TPA, flag the ones with no review or payment, and see which carriers are slowest.
- Jobs stalled between mitigation and rebuildFlag losses where mitigation is done but the rebuild is not estimated, signed, or scheduled, before the customer goes elsewhere.
- Drying equipment left on siteCompare moisture readings and equipment logs to catch air movers and dehus sitting on dry jobs or missing from the warehouse count.
- Missing moisture logs and photosCheck every active water job for daily readings, photos, and signed forms, so documentation gaps get fixed while the job is open.
- Carrier program deadlines at riskTrack contact, arrival, and estimate upload deadlines on program jobs, and flag the ones about to miss before your scorecard takes the hit.
- Claim payments stuckFlag approved claims with no payment, checks waiting on mortgage company endorsement, and homeowner balances aging in AR.
