For Residential roofing companies doing retail reroofs and storm insurance work
Catch roofing insurance supplements stuck with the carrier
The adjuster missed drip edge, starter, ice and water, or other line items, so your team sends a supplement. Then it sits. Nobody follows up on a schedule, the claim gets buried, and the job either closes short or the build waits on approval.
What it can cost you
Example: 5 supplements a month sitting unanswered at $2,400 average = $12,000 in scope waiting on a follow-up.An illustration, not a promise. Your Opportunity Scan puts a real number on it.
What the system checks overnight
- Lists supplements sent with no carrier response past your follow-up window.
- Flags jobs scheduled to build whose supplement is still open.
- Tracks approval rate and response time by carrier and by adjuster.
- Flags supplements sent without photos or a measurement report attached.
- Compares approved scope to what was requested, so partial approvals do not slip by.
Where it reads from
- JobNimbus
- AccuLynx
- CompanyCam
- EagleView
What happens when it fires
Your supplement coordinator approves and sends the follow-ups. The system drafts each one with the claim number, the items requested, and the supporting photos listed.
Autonomy level: Draft for approval. The system prepares the message or task, and you approve it before anything goes out.
What we guarantee
Every open supplement gets a follow-up drafted on the schedule you set, and none ages past it without a flag. We agree on the metric before the Sprint starts and measure it over the first 20 business days after go-live. If we miss it, you get half your Sprint fee back. Dollar savings are tracked in your monthly saves log, reported rather than promised.
Questions
Does it write the supplement itself?
No. Your team still builds the supplement. The system tracks it after it goes out and makes sure nothing sits without a follow-up.
Can it see what the carrier approved?
It reads the status and approved amounts your team logs in JobNimbus or AccuLynx, plus any updated estimate attached to the job. If the approved scope comes back short, it flags the difference.
Do I need new software for this?
No. The system reads from the tools you already use, with read-only access by default. A guardrail layer controls exactly which data the AI can see.
What does it cost?
A 3-week Sprint is $6,000 fixed and includes the morning brief plus one automation tied to an agreed metric. Ongoing support is $1,500 a month, or $500 a month to keep it running without new automations. If the agreed metric is missed over the first 20 business days after go-live, half the Sprint fee is refunded.
How is this different from a dashboard app or a free AI kit?
A dashboard app shows numbers when you go look. A free AI kit gives you the parts, and you do the setup, the upkeep, and the checking. Here the alarms are built for your kind of business, they watch outside data like market rates and rule changes alongside yours, and on Run or Keep-Running, the person who built them keeps them working and logs what they caught.
More alarms for roofing contractors
Seven more things worth watching.
- Depreciation checks not releasedFlag finished insurance roofs where the completion paperwork never went to the carrier, so the depreciation check is still unpaid.
- Retail roof estimates going coldFlag roof proposals that homeowners opened but did not sign, with no follow-up logged, ranked by job size and age.
- Material price increases on signed jobsCompare supplier price changes against signed but unbuilt jobs, so you see the margin drop before the material order goes in.
- Material and labor over estimateCompare ordered squares, returns, dumpsters, and crew pay to the estimate on every finished roof, and see which jobs lost margin.
- Sold backlog agingSee signed roofs waiting on material, approvals, or a crew, with the dollars aging in your backlog and how full each crew is.
- Missing job photosCheck every active roof in CompanyCam for the required photo set, so supplements, depreciation requests, and warranty claims hold up.
- Storm leads not inspectedAfter hail or wind hits your area, see which leads are still waiting on an inspection, sorted by rep and by neighborhood.
