For Small and mid-size freight brokerages and non-asset 3PLs with in-house reps or agents
See when your carrier buy rates drift above the market on a lane
Reps pay what the carrier asks on lanes they cover often, and rates drift up even when the market softens. On contract lanes, the market can move above your customer rate and turn the whole lane underwater. Nobody looks lane by lane until margin is already gone.
What it can cost you
Example: 60 loads a month on a lane bought $120 above market = $7,200 a month. An illustration, not a promise. Your Opportunity Scan puts a real number on it.
What the system checks overnight
- Compares carrier cost per mile on each lane to your own recent history.
- Compares your buy rates to spot market rate data for the same lane and equipment.
- Flags contract lanes where the market rate has moved close to or above your customer rate.
- Breaks lane buy rates down by rep and by carrier.
- Flags lanes where you keep using the same carrier at a premium.
Where it reads from
- McLeod PowerBroker, Tai TMS, AscendTMS, Aljex, or Turvo
- DAT
- Truckstop
Spot and contract lane rate data from DAT or Truckstop, if your brokerage subscribes.
What happens when it fires
You decide whether to work new carriers on the lane or reprice the customer. The system lists carriers who have run that lane at lower rates and drafts the outreach.
Autonomy level: Draft for approval. The system prepares the message or task, and you approve it before anything goes out.
What we guarantee
Buy rate on every lane compared to your history and market data each week, with drifting lanes ranked by margin at risk. We agree on the metric before the Sprint starts and measure it over the first 20 business days after go-live. If we miss it, you get half your Sprint fee back. Dollar savings are tracked in your monthly saves log, reported rather than promised.
Questions
We do not subscribe to DAT or Truckstop. Can it still help?
Yes. It compares against your own lane history, which catches most drift. Market data makes it sharper on lanes you run rarely.
Can it tell us when to reprice a contract customer?
It shows lanes where the market has moved against your customer rate and by how much. When and how to reprice is your call.
Do I need new software for this?
No. The system reads from the tools you already use, with read-only access by default. A guardrail layer controls exactly which data the AI can see.
What does it cost?
A 3-week Sprint is $6,000 fixed and includes the morning brief plus one automation tied to an agreed metric. Ongoing support is $1,500 a month, or $500 a month to keep it running without new automations. If the agreed metric is missed over the first 20 business days after go-live, half the Sprint fee is refunded.
How is this different from a dashboard app or a free AI kit?
A dashboard app shows numbers when you go look. A free AI kit gives you the parts, and you do the setup, the upkeep, and the checking. Here the alarms are built for your kind of business, they watch outside data like market rates and rule changes alongside yours, and on Run or Keep-Running, the person who built them keeps them working and logs what they caught.

Seven more things worth watching.
- Thin and negative margin loadsFlag loads booked below your margin floor, carrier rate changes after booking, and reps who book thin, before the truck rolls.
- Accessorials paid but not billedMatch every accessorial paid to a carrier against what was billed to the shipper, so detention, lumper, layover, and TONU stop eating your margin.
- Reps moving volume at thin marginCompare margin per load, quote to book rate, and commission per rep, so you coach the reps who move lots of loads but leave little for the house.
- Shipper pay slipping while carriers quick payTrack days to collect by shipper against days to pay carriers, so your cash gap does not quietly grow while the load count looks healthy.
- Carrier authority or insurance problemsCheck every carrier before each load for lapsed insurance, authority changes, and contact details that do not match, to cut double brokering risk.
- Shipper volume quietly fallingCompare weekly loads, quotes, and tenders per shipper to their norm, so you call the account when volume starts sliding, not after it is gone.
- Delivered loads not invoicedTrack every delivered load from POD to invoice to accepted, so missing paperwork and rejected portal invoices do not delay your cash.
